SAML Signature Digest Verification Failure (Doc ID 2645180.1)

Symptoms


In EBS/SOA 12.2.1.3 environment, there is a webservice that requires SAML authentication.
There is no owsm service policy attached to the server side where the webservice resides in the EBS side.
The way security is handled there is through a SAML enabled service that has a reference to a keystore used in SAML authentication.
The request is successfully sent from the client side (BPEL process acting as the client where the oracle/wss10_saml_token_with_message_protection_client_policy_copy is attached)
Also, the response is successfully sent from the EBS side but the receiving end failed to receive the response successfully resulting in the following error when the client tries to call the webservice:
