APEX Public Synonyms Remain After Removing APEX (Doc ID 2648561.1)

In order to remove APEX 4.2.5 from the multi-tenant database, the customer ran the following script to remove APEX:

$ORACLE_HOME/apxremov_con.sql

The removal was successful, however certain public synonyms remain:

How can these synonyms be removed from the database to finish the removal of APEX from the DB?
