Document Viewer Task Flow Does Not Display PDF Files in Viewable Format After Upgrading from 11g to 12c (Doc ID 2653514.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from WebCenter Portal 11g to 12c, the Document Viewer Task Flows no longer show the Viewable format of PDF files.
Instead it shows the document properties.

 

STEPS


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Add a Document Viewer in 11g and set it to display a PDF file.
    Here you will see it display the viewable format aof the PDF file.

  2. Upgrade form 11g to 12c.
  3. View the PDF file.
    You will see the DOcument Viewer was replaced by a content presenter but this displays the document properties instead of the viewable format of the PDF file.
