Symptoms
After having applied a patch or bundle patch that contains the fix from Bug 30244577 to correct an issue with the Variables refresh, when running an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Load Plan that contains more than one job needed to run in serial, the following behavior is observed:
- The Load Plan starts executing the first serial job...
- The second serial jobs starts:
- Without waiting for the first job to complete..
- If the second job is coincidentally started after completion of first job, it starts regardless to the status of first one - second job starts even if the first job failed and shows **error** status.
Expected behavior:
- The Load Plan starts executing the first serial job...
- The second serial jobs starts only after successful completion of first job. If the first job completes with **error** status, the second job should not start, and the Load Plan execution should be terminated.
