Symptoms

After registering a Content Server connection in WebCenter Portal through FMW EM Console (WebCenter Portal - Service Configuration), errors are reported.

[<TIMESTAMP>] [WC_Portal] [ERROR] [] [oracle.webcenter.content.integration.RepositoryRuntimeException] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '18' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: <USERID>] [ecid: <ECID>] [APP: webcenter] [partition-name: DOMAIN] [tenant-name: GLOBAL] [DSID: <DSID>] <TIMESTAMP> oracle.webcenter.content.integration.spi.ucm.UCMBridge doPingRepository[[SEVERE: Cannot connect to UCM server associated with repository WCP-UCM, at hostname <HOSTNAME>, port <PORT>. Error occurred when calling service PING_SERVER. Error message: Unable to initialize connection idc://<SERVERNAME>:<PORT>. Check the UCM server status to make sure it is running.
