Last updated on APRIL 17, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle GoldenGate Veridata - Version 12.2.1.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer creates a new user via Admin console and is unable to login to Veridata Portal using this user if user is created in SSL mode.

Messaged displayed at the time to login is "It is not possible to log you in"

From logs:
name: DOMAIN] > <BEA-000000> <Warning: Problem processing peer certificates. Please run with debug mode turned ON at warning level for more details.>
<Debug> <SecuritySSL><VERIDATA_server1> <ExecuteThread: '3' for queue: 'weblogic.socket.Muxer'> <> <>
<[severity-value: 128] [rid: 0] [partition-id: 0] [partition-name: DOMAIN] > <BEA-000000> <Exception processing peer certificates: peer not authenticated
javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated

If the user is created in Non SSL mode and then we switch to SSL mode, the login is successful.

Changes

Changed from Non secure to Secure ports(SSL mode)

This happens when SSL port is enabled on both admin and managed (veridata) servers
