XML Export Has Missing Lines if XML Content Contains New Lines (Doc ID 2668928.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3, an XML export results in missing lines if the XML content contains new lines (LF).

For example:

An XML file which includes empty lines is loaded initially into XML database tables using external database feature.

This is how the XML looks in Notepad++ (Show All Characters Option):



When exporting the content of the XML database tables into a new XML file using an ODI procedure with <> command, in the new XML file there are missing lines compared to the initial XML file:
