WebLogic Admin Server Not Accessible Over SSL Port (Doc ID 2670521.1)

Symptoms

WebLogic AdminServer is throwing the errors and warnings after installing the certs causing WLS admin console not accessible over SSL port.

The following error is thrown in the WLS AdminServer.log file:

<Notice> <Security> <BEA-090169> <Loading trusted certificates from the jks keystore file /usr/java/jdk1.8.0_71/jre/lib/security/cacerts.>
<Error> <Security> <BEA-090929> <Unable to load key store [keyStoreType="jks", source="/usr/java/jdk1.8.0_71/jre/lib/security/cacerts", exception="java.io.IOException", message="Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect"]>

<Warning> <Security> <BEA-090164> <Failed to load trusted certificates from keystore /usr/java/jdk1.8.0_71/jre/lib/security/cacerts of type jks>
<Warning> <Security> <BEA-090172> <No trusted certificates have been loaded. Server will not trust to any certificate it receives.>

Changes

1. Install the identity certificate in identity.jks keystore file.

2. Install the trusted certificates in cacerts keystore file of JDK.

3. Choose "Custom Identity and Java Standard Trust" type keystore from admin console:

Path: Environment -> Servers -> <AdminServer -> KeyStores
