Using Versioning (Legacy Mode) of ODI Objects Wrong Version Seen for "Current Version" Section (Doc ID 2673201.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) repository is configured to use ODI Repository for versioning ODI objects (legacy mode) for Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) objects. When there are multiple versions, the "Current Version" section sometimes shows a wrong version.
For example, having several versions created like: 1.0.0.0, 1.0.0.1,1.0.0.90,1.0.0.10,1.0.0.11, "Current Version" always remains 1.0.0.90 instead of 1.0.0.11.

 

To reproduce:

  1. Login to ODI Studio 
  2. Open a mapping or package
  3. In the mapping or package, go to the "Overview" tab
  4. Select the "Version" tab on the left side
  5. Click the green + sign to add new versions, ie: 1.0.0.0  and, 1.0.0.1
    => notice that the "Current Version" is correct
  6. Add the version 1.0.0.90
    => notice that the "Current Version" correctly shows "1.0.0.90"
  7. Add the version 1.0.0.11
    => notice that the "Current Version" incorrectly shows "1.0.0.90"
