Java Web Start Cached Server Overrides Choice In Loadbalancer (Doc ID 2676119.1)

Symptoms

A Forms application is started with Java Web Start.  A Windows shortcut is used and the url that is employed to start the application points to a Load Balancer (LB).  There are three servers that are configured in the LB.  When one of the backend servers is removed from the LB some clients still connect to the absent server.  This causes the connection from the client to fail with the following Forms error:



After clearing the Java cache and retrying the connection, the client succeeds in connecting to one of the remaining configured servers in the Load Balancer.
