WCS Mixed Mode On JCS Unable To Logout While In Sites UI (Doc ID 2678019.1)

Symptoms

Customer using WebCenter Sites on Java Cloud Service with OHS and Mixed Mode.  
They are not able to logout of the Webcenter Sites session. When clicking on logout button, the whole page refreshes back to home page.
They find below exception whenever trying to logout:
 
  Ticket 'ST-1-CSfdPZigQynbzLl6LsZV-cas-111.22.33.44-1' not recognized
