Unable to Modify the ODI Model Datastore Attribute Order (Doc ID 2678084.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio version 12.2.1.4.0, modifications to the order of the attributes in an ODI model datastore cannot be saved , that is in turn reflected in the mapping table.

  1. In ODI Studio open a model datastore
  2. In the Attributes tab, select a column and click the arrow up or down to move the position
  3. Click Save
  4. Close the Datastore tab
  5. Re-open the Datastore tab
  6. Observe that the modification of the attribute position did not stick, even though Save in step 3 seemed successful.
