"Stop Normal" and "Stop Immediate" Options Grayed Out for ODI 12.2.1.4 Load Plan Sessions (Doc ID 2683835.1)

Symptoms

An execution of an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) load plan creates a new session entry in the Operator tab. After opening this session entry, a Stop icon is visible on the top bar with the options "Stop Normal" and "Stop Immediate." However, both options are greyed out and cannot be selected by any user, including the SUPERVISOR.

The following note is similar, however, the steps to resolve do not work in this case.

Changes

This occurs after installing or patching to ODI 12.2.1.3.190708 and later, or ODI 12.2.1.4.
