Symptoms

WebCenter Enterprise Capture (WEC) Metadata Choice-list Dropdown displays an extra empty field (blank row).

After creating a choice list and checking it on the client application we noticed an extra empty line is added to the list.  Note that the field containing the list is required and that the document is uploaded when this value is left blank.  The expected behavior is that an error should be displayed on the client-side but is not and the only error is in the server log reporting a required field is empty.
