In Sites 12c, is it Supported To Deploy The WAR Files As Exploded (Doc ID 2693444.1)

In Sites 12c, there are 2 war files for WebCenter Sites:
i) sites.war (or sites-samples.war, depending on installation)
  - This is the WebCenter Sites web application
ii) extend.sites.webapp-lib.war
  - This is the shared library which can be used to deploy custom libraries:

By default, these war files are deployed as archives (e.g. .war).
