Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Accessing WebCenter Portal URL returns a blank page.  The diagnostic log shows an error like:

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: The defaultPortal is null.
at oracle.webcenter.framework.view.support.impl.DeviceSupportUtils.getDefaultPortal(DeviceSupportUtils.java:264)

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to get to the landing page so users can authenticate. 


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps: 

  1. Access the WebCenter Portal URL.

  2. Here you will see a blank page.
    No login screen.
