Purpose

This document helps to setup Coherence Metrics in a standalone Coherence cluster environment and in a WebLogic Server Domain Coherence Cluster.

Scope

As of version 12.2.1.4, Coherence provides a metrics endpoint which extends the metrics capability by allowing scraping of metrics via metrics gathering systems such as Prometheus. An user who familiar with the Coherence cluster and the Maven environment could set up Coherence Metrics for a given cluster in their environment.
