Symptoms
An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) procedure takes longer than usual to start processing if SQL comment has more than 15 left parentheses without a right parentheses. The ODI session start is delayed by tens of seconds.
Once the SQL is running, the SQL processing performance is not affected.
Following is an example where the comment has many left parentheses:
