MDB Commit throws SecurityException after migrating to WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4 (Doc ID 2698927.1)

Symptoms

After migrating from WLS 12.2.1.3 to WLS 12.2.1.4 (latest PSU) the following Security Exception is thrown in the logs which show that the SSL port being accessed with "WLS Kernel" user when MDBs are committed. Issue not seen when rolled back to WLS 12.2.1.3.
