"Mismatch with the server cert DN" when ODI Connects to Database over SSL (Doc ID 2704280.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3.0 to 12.2.1.4.200413, the connection to an SSL database (such as on Oracle Cloud or Amazon Web Services) that was previously working fine now fails with the following error regarding the server Distinguished Name (DN).

The JDBC URL is similar to the following:

jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCPS)(PORT=<PORT>)(HOST=<HOSTNAME>))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=<SERVICE_NAME>))(SECURITY=(ssl_server_cert_dn="..., O=...,L=...,ST=...,C=...")))
