Last updated on SEPTEMBER 11, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The following error is encountered intermittently when executing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Mapping that uses the Unique Names mechanism, and writes data to XML:

  • Ensure that neither the Mapping, nor the Agent executing the Mapping uses **Unique Names**.

In the ODI Studio > Topology > definition of XML Technology > "Advanced" tab, set the "Maximum Table Name Length" to any value.

Execute the Mapping, and observe that the execution succeeds without any error message.
