Symptoms

The following error is encountered intermittently when executing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Mapping that uses the Unique Names mechanism, and writes data to XML:

 
  • Ensure that neither the Mapping, nor the Agent executing the Mapping uses **Unique Names**.

    In the ODI Studio > Topology > definition of XML Technology > "Advanced" tab, set the "Maximum Table Name Length" to any value.
     
    Execute the Mapping, and observe that the execution succeeds without any error message.
