Inactive and Sniped Sessions In Exadata Database When Using JDBC Connection Pool (Doc ID 2711212.1)

Symptoms


After migrating an 11.2.0.4 database on Solaris to Exadata (same database version), iWay Service Manager using JDBC Connection Pool connects successfully to the database, but sometimes reports "SQLAgent cannot get a connection from the datasource jdbc/<NAME>" (iWay error).
A large number of sniped sessions are noticed in the database, and sys.AUD$ returncode is 2391 is reported..
