Symptoms

SatelliteServer Deployment "Failed"

In the WLS Deployments screen, the satelliteserver application shows as "Failed"

In the satelliteserver managed server .log file the following error is seen:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.fatwire.rest.registration.SatelliteServerRegistrationImpl._registerSatelliteServer(SatelliteServerRegistrationImpl.java:110)
at oracle.fatwire.rest.registration.SatelliteServerRegistrationImpl.contextInitialized(SatelliteServerRegistrationImpl.java:70)
