Goal
Planning to upgrade WebCenter Content (WCC) from 11g (11.1.1.9) to 12c version (12.2.1.3) and have queries on upgrade plan & indexing:
1). Can we use clone of new WCC system (though full Collection Rebuild Cycle (CRC) is still running with 70% completion) as base for 12c upgrade? Will that have any impact on upgrade activities?
2). Post 12c upgrade, do we need to re-run full indexing cycle on upgraded instance or need not to run as cloned instance used for upgrade was already indexed?
3). If we run 12c upgrade activities on partially indexed system (70% completion) and post upgrade if we resume with CRC full indexing run again, will it consider pending delta records (30%) or start over again ?
4). Based on use cases from other customers, whats the required time to be considered for indexing 10 million of records in WCC ? Is there any way to speed up the indexing process?
