Goal
On : 19.1.0.0.3 version,
GoldenGate for Big Data places backslash before comma, equal sign and other characters
We are using the filewriter to produce comma separated files with string data enclosed in double quotes. For some reason, GG for Big Data is prefixing some characters in string data, commas, equal signs and maybe others, with a backslash. This is causing issues for our downstream processing and is making some strings longer than their max length. The only replacement we are doing for any characters is to replace any double quotes appearing in a string's data with two double quotes.
