Last updated on DECEMBER 26, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo - Version 12.2.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The users need to know to describe the TMIB MIB_SELF call can fail. Introducing these calls the user wants to know under what circumstances these tpcalls can fail.
how to describe each calls message exchange so the user can identify weak/failure points and doing TMIB MIB_SELF calls so do they send an IPC message to whom, see below :

APPTPCALL -IPC->BRIDGE -TCP-> BRIDGE-IPC->DBBL?

The user has implemented this and in testing, it is not failing. Even an example of 'similar MP Domain can do 2000 calls max per second to the TMIB.
If restricted to TMIB_SELF 4500 cps' of course that is made up but the user wants assurance that this is not a hidden issue that under load might popup.
