Attempting to add a Content Task Flow like Content Manager or Content Presenter to a Page Returns Error: Documents Tool disabled (Doc ID 2725038.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add a content task flow like Content Manager or Content Presenter to a Page, the following error occurs:

ERROR

Documents Tool disabled.
Enable the Documents Tool in Tools and Services, or contact the portal manager.

STEPS


The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Configure WebCenter Portal with Content Server.
     
  2. Create a portal.
     
  3. Enable the Documents service in the portal.
     
  4. Add a page in the portal and then add a Content task flow to the page.
    Here you will see the error.
