SAML SSO Leads to 403 Error Due to 'java.security.cert.CertificateExpiredException' (Doc ID 2727399.1)

Symptoms

WebLogic is SP while ADFS is IdP. When SSO call is made it fails with 403 error. The SAML assertion fails with following error.

saml2 application session creation itself fails before it performs the redirection to the application context path as the assertion verify signature fails.

 

Changes

 Change in the Certificates on the SP end.
