Updating Certification Comments Using Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) API Fails with : oracle.iam.certification.exception.AccessDeniedException: The logged-in user XXXX does not have updateCertification permission on Certification XXXX (Doc ID 2727951.1)

Symptoms

 

A non certification reviewer like the OIM admin super user or any other admin user with an admin role containing the certification capabilities (Certification - Modify, Certification - View, Certification - Modify Configuration and Certification - View Configuration) on trying to update the comments of a certification using the OIM API methods:

 

the method fails with the below error:

 

oracle.iam.certification.exception.AccessDeniedException: The logged-in user XXXX does not have updateCertification permission on Certification XXX-XX-XX-XXXX entity.
