Symptoms

After updating the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from version 8u251 to 8u261 on a Windows 10 Client machine, attempting to connect to an Oracle Forms 12.1.1.3 application causes the following errors to appear.

 

 The problem disappears after reverting back to version 8u251.

Changes

 The client JRE was updated from 8u251 to 8u261.
