Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) models does not contain database comments metadata for the tables and columns after a standard reverse engineer. It is expected that they would be in the Description field for the datastore and the attributes.

This can be replicated by creating a table on the database, and adding comments for the table and the columns.
