Applies to:
Identity Manager Connector - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and laterIdentity Manager - Version 11.1.2.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On OIG 12.2.1.3.0 with Oracle Internet Directory (OID) connector v11.1.1.6.0 , following OIM form field length is set as follows:
First Name -->150
While trying to provision a user with the lengths First Name=150 some of the attributes in OID Process form are not populating and also on OID target system.
If the length of First Name is 80 or less, then the OID Process Form and OID target systems are being populated correctly.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Update the length of First Name in the process form to 150 using Sandbox.
2. Activate the process form.
3. Try to provision the user, error is encountered where in some of the OID Process form UDF's are not populated.
Changes
OIM attributes maximum length is modified and is increased to meet business requirement.
OID process form UDF are configured with pre-populate adapters for being auto populated post provisioning.
