Exalogic Virtual : OVS Pool Filesystem Fails To Mount On Dom0 Compute Nodes Due To Missing ovspoolfs.img In /nfsmnt/xxxxxxxxx (Doc ID 2736386.1)

Symptoms

In Exalogic 2.0.6.3.x Virtual racks, OVS pool filesystem fails to mount on multiple Dom0 Compute Nodes.

Following are the symptoms which are noticed at the time of the issue.

1. xm create commands hangs on all Dom0 Compute Nodes. A few compute Nodes are in the cluster and few other Compute Nodes are unable to join the cluster.

2. On all Dom0 Compute nodes listing of /nfsmnt/XXXX directory shows that .ovspoolfs.img Pool filesystem image file is missing.

Changes

Issue described in this Note was noticed at the time of applying PSU. But the issue can be encountered outside of PSU application as well.
