Exalogic Virtual: October 2020 PSU Upgrade - Post Migration Guest vServers (including Exalogic Control Guest vServers) Have No Network After Starting on Dom0 Compute Nodes (Doc ID 2737312.1)

Symptoms

When applying October 2020 PSU on Exalogic Virtual racks, After OVMM is upgraded from 3.2.11 to 3.4.5, Issue of Guest vServers starting on certain compute nodes not having Networks (both EoIB and IPoIB) is noticed.

On the affected Guest vServers which have no network, the commands "ibstat" will show no outputs, and "mlx4_vnic_info -l" will show the module not loaded:

 

When stating the same affected Guest vServer on different Dom0 compute node we notice that networks on the Guest vServer work without any issues.

Changes

Upgrade to the October 2020 PSU for Exalogic 2.0.6.3.x racks plus migration of the Exalogic Control guest vServers.
