Unable to Complete ElasticSearch Server Configuration Due to "Not able to establish connection." error in WebCenter Content (WCC). (Doc ID 2743976.1)

Symptoms

ISSUE
-----------------------
When trying to complete the ElasticSearch server configuration, after filling the required fields and selecting update following error message is experienced:
 
ElasticSearch Configurations update failed. Not able to establish connection.

ElasticSearch is configured on a different server than the WebCenter Content server.


ERROR
-----------------------
Could not connect to the node. name -> null host -> <HostName> port -> <Port>


STEPS TO REPLICATE
-----------------------
1. Configure ElasticSearch on the WebCenter Content server.
2. ElasticSearch would be on a different server than the WebCenter Content server.
3. Click on Update and above referenced error message is noted.


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
Admin(s) are unable to complete the ElasticSearch configuration.
