Oracle HTTP Server Core Dump Files Are Not Found in OHS Directories (Doc ID 2745252.1)

Oracle HTTP Server - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Generic Linux

Symptoms

When Oracle HTTP Server(OHS) process crashed core files are not found in the usual OHS config or binary location directories.
Confirmed OS user is able to create core files:
 - /proc/ReplaceWithOhsPid/limits shows "Max core file size unlimited"
 - Baseline test using same OS user successfully created corefile
   cd /tmp
   sleep 10000 &
   kill -11 $!
