Additional Retry On SOA 12.2.1.4 Even When Auto-Recovery Is Disabled (Doc ID 2745921.1)

Additional retry on SOA 12.2.1.4 even when Auto-Recovery is disabled

Environment was recently upgraded from 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4 using this document:

and also applied the latest OCT CPU patch using this document: 2694898.1

It has been observed that when one of the backend data source is down the child service is being called twice from the parent service which was not happening in 12.2.1.3.
Applied the setting to restrict/disable Auto-retries but retries is still happening:
