Purpose
This MOS Note provides guidance on how to cleanly delete Compute node(s) from EMOC, cleanup EMOC Domain references of Compute node(s) & rediscovering back Compute node(s) into EMOC.
Procedure in this MOS Note which be help resolving EMOC issues related to Compute node(s) discovery. Following are few issues that can be encountered due to Compute node(s) discovery issues in EMOC Domain model.
One or more Compute nodes not showing any Guest vServers running under them in Assets accordion in EMOC BUI console even though there are running Guest vServers on the Compute nodes.
"No server in your account can satistfy request" popup error when creating new vServer or starting vServer from EMOC.
"Invalid OVM domain type [null]" or "No switches are associated to fabric" popup error messages when creating new vServer or starting vServer from EMOC.
NullPointerException when clicking on vDC Management or vDC account in EMOC.

This MOS Note applies to Exalogic Virtual racks running with 2.0.6.3.X & 2.0.6.4.X versions.
