"Connect to Repository" Takes Long Using ODI Studio 12.2.1.4 and Results in Rewrite of "snps_login_work_12.xml" (Doc ID 2751061.1)

Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio 12.2.1.4, when selecting "Connect to Repository" upon login, it takes significantly longer for the list of available logins to be shown than in older releases such as ODI 12.2.1.2.x. This is particularly true if there is a long list of login connections.

Occasionally, the order of login names changes.
