Webforms not Using Windows Appearance Color Scheme for Display Items and LOVs (Doc ID 275255.1)

Symptoms

 Webforms does not pick up the windows appearance color scheme for Display items and LOVs.

Run web_appearance in both Forms 6i and Forms 9i web and you will see that the display item and LOV do not behave like client server. The display item remains white no matter what color scheme is chosen and the LOV's data area remains white (although the LOV frame does inherit the Windows Color Scheme).
--Note that it happens only with "Lookandfeel=Generic".
--Note that all items have value for all color attributes.
