When Using Chrome to Open PDF Files an ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT Error is Returned (Doc ID 2754914.1)

WebCenter Content. All versions of 11g and 12c.

Chrome version 87 or higher is being used to open PDF content items.

When accessing a PDF item such as:

The following error is returned: is blocked. Requests to server have been blocked by an extension. Try to disable your extension ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT.

 When using a non-87 version of Chrome, or other browsers, accessing the URL above, the PDF file is displayed as expected.
