Applies to:
Oracle Access Manager - Version 11.1.2.3.180417 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Why does the oblogintrycount not increase with the OAuth Calls?
- Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 12c
- Providing An Invalid Password While Using The OAuth Calls Will Not Increase The Oblogintrycount Value
Scenario
- While testing the OAuth Calls in postman to retrieve access tokens and when giving a wrong password, the oblogintrycount value doesn't increase when invalid password was provided using the OAuth which in turn doesn't lock the account.
- Although the oblogintrycount and oblockedon are working as expected on Agent based authentication using OAM webgates configured on the same environment as where we have OAuth Configured.
