Unable To Start The IBR Server Post Upgrading from 11g to 12c (Doc ID 2760733.1)

After running the config.cmd to extend the domain and adding the IBR server followed by restarting IBR managed server, the WebLogic (WLS) admin console shows it was up and running. However, IBR server logs shows error and is inaccessible.

The existing IBR server was deleted with a misunderstanding that upgrading the IBR is not supported in 12c thru the console in the upgraded environment and attempted to create a new one there by extending domain.

Server logs shows following exceptions:


 Environment was upgraded from 11g to 12c AND domain was extended to include IBR server.
