Right-click Near an ODI 12c Object Name Only Gives Access to the "Open" Option (Doc ID 2764606.1)

Symptoms

The right-click in the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Studio UI (Designer, Operator, Topology or Security) only gives access to the "Open" option in the associated floating menu.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: The floating menu should show all the options available for the highlighted object.

Note that the same functions in ODI 11g.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Start ODI 12c Studio.
  2. In Designer, right-click between a Mapping name, and the "+" / "-" icon. Observe that the Mapping is highlighted, however only the "Open" option is available in the floating-menu.
  3. In Designer, right-click on a Mapping name. Observe that the Mapping is highlighted, and all the options in the floating-menu are available (including "Duplicate Selection" and "Copy")
