Sort Not Working in an ADF Application migrated from 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4 (Doc ID 2770582.1)

Symptoms


Application built using JDeveloper 12.2.1.3.0 is not working in WebLogic 12.2.1.4
After migrating an ADF application from JDeveloper 12.2.1.3 to JDeveloper 12.2.1.4, the sorting does not work anymore.
The viewobject is obtained from an iterator; then the viewobject query mode is changed to QUERY_MODE_SCAN_VIEW_ROWS to sort a specific column.
This works in 12.2.1.3. But after migrating the application to 12.2.1.4, the sort does not work anymore.
