Why The BI Reports Or Extracts Are Not Getting Released Instantly To Content Server (UCM) (Doc ID 2780370.1)

BI customers are usually triggering reports/extracts and then they are checking whether it is complete or not. Once completed in BI they will instantly try the retrieval of the output file from Content Server (UCM).

All of the above actions are done via web services. These web services are called by their integration layer using custom scripts with SOAP calls.
Though the report or extract is complete, when the web service tries to fetch the output file, it will not be present in the Content Server instantly. Due to which many integration jobs are failing when trying to collect the out file synchronously.

It has been confirmed there is a delay in releasing the output to UCM.
