After Cloning an 11g ODI Work Repository and Adding to a Master Repository, the Schema Tables are Empty (Doc ID 2781252.1)

Symptoms

After cloning an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g Master / Work repository (MR / WR) and adding the cloned work repository into the new cloned master repository using ODI Studio, the cloned work repositories are empty.
Cloning was done as a preparation step to test an upgrade.


To reproduce:

  1. Clone schema master / work repository schemas using database (db) tools expdp and impdp
  2. Using ODI Studio, login to the cloned master repository
  3. In Topology, right-click on "Work Repositories" and select "New Work Repository"
