Unable to open folders when the folder name contains the letter "I" (upper case i) (Doc ID 2798511.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 18, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Unable to open folders (FrameworkFolders) when the folder name contains the letter "I" (upper case i).

This occurs under the following scenarios when not using English-US locale:

1) In WebCenter Portal, users are unable to navigate into a Portal when the name has letter 'I' (capital i) when using Content Manager on the home page.

For example, a portal called InsaatDairesi was created which is using Content Manager on the home page.    When a user changes their language (e.g., Türkçe) and clicks on the portal InsaatDairesi, they get the below error.

Hata
Mevcut olmayan veya erişiminiz olmayan bir kitaplık veya klasör belirttiniz.

If the portal was created with a Home page and Documents page and the Content Manager is on the Documents page, then the error would occur when they click on Documents.

2) In CS native UI (e.g., http://ucmhost:16200/cs), users are unable to navigate into any enterprise library or folder when the name has letter 'I' (capital i).

For example, set User Locale to Türkçe in the user profile page.  Navigated to Browse Content -> Folders.  Then clicked on folder Interstate and get below error.

Content Server İsteği Başarısız Oldu
Hata 'path:/Interstate' mevcut değil.
