My Oracle Support Banner

Redirected to frontend root https://<frontend>/ after logging in at https://<frontend>/cs/login/login.htm (Doc ID 2803697.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 18, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Typically, users login into CS native UI at https://{frontend}/cs where the frontend can be either LB or webtier.  They enter their login credentials and navigate around the UI as expected.

However, if a user navigates to https://{frontend}/cs/login/login.htm and clicks login, then they're redirected to the web root (i.e., https://{frontend}/)

It was also observed that the issue can occur when user clicks the "logout" button on the top right of the page.  Then the user is redirected to https://{webtier}/cs/login/login.htm.  When the user clicks login, they get redirected to web root "/".

This also occurs with http as well (i.e., http://{frontend}/cs/login/login.htm).
