Symptoms

The user reported that in an FMW persistence enabled Coherence cluster, cache services are failed to join the cluster after applying the patch in a rolling restart of the servers of the machines hosting the cluster. The user moved from patch 8 to 9 for the Coherence version 12.2.1.4.0 version.
